November 1st, 2020

An evening dedicated to
contemporary silent moving image
and experimental sound

- Free admission -

Following the great success of Moving Silence in Cyprus for the past nine years at ARTos Foundation, Moving Silence took place for the tenth consecutive year in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Cyprus, this year within the framework of the Freiraumfestival. On Sunday, November 1st, 2020, musicians and composers met between 20:30-22:00 to perform live soundtracks for video and film works without sound by contemporary creators of their choice. The audience got an unique experience where the musicians-composers performed live their music while the films/videos that have inspired them were simultaneously screened. Because of the pandemic and the limited space we had also projections in the hallway and yard and streamed the event online.
