Landschaft is the title of a series of silent videos of the Artist Matthias Fritsch, backed by professional musicians. The musicians read the graphic qualities of the moving landscapes, transforming these 'geo-graphics' into a coherent sonic piece. |
For the premire of Landschaft No.4 on December 2nd, 2011 in Cyprus swiss artist Oliver Schmid developed a Drone soundtrack that creates a transcendent atmosphere out of time and makes the audience feel like they are sitting in a satellite. |

Matthias Fritsch lives and works in Berlin. He studied Media Art at the University of Arts and Design Karlsruhe (HfG) in Germany and Film, Fine Art and Curating at Bard College, Center for Curatorial Studies (CCS), New York State, USA.
